Robert Diaz brings more than 12 years in diverse tax, financial, and business consulting experience to his current role as founder of Specialty Taxes, an accounting and tax practice he started in 2004. Mr. Diaz is dedicated to helping clients achieve business success by helping them establish practical and sound tax and financial processes. He is committed to delivering tax and financial services that meet the unique needs of each individual client.
Prior, Mr. Diaz gained extensive accounting and auditing experience as a tax auditor for the California State Board of Equalization. While there, he polished his skills in collecting and analyzing large volumes of financial data, drawing sound conclusions, and noting and recommending solutions for deficiencies in a company’s accounting procedures & operation controls.
Mr. Diaz also specializes in personal income tax for low, moderate, and high income individuals with both basic and complex tax issues. He received his tax training from Ted L. Ritchie, a CPA with over 40 years experience whom he worked closely with for over 8 years. He graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Accounting from DeVry University in Pomona. His passion for numbers and strong work ethic coincide with his gift for taking complex financial information and making it clear and concise.
Mr. Diaz resides in Los Angeles County where he was born and raised.
